Picsel Technologies Licenses Document Viewer To TCL

    Picsel Technologies has signed a licensing agreement with TCL, which will make Picsel File Viewer the standard document viewing enabler across TCL's smartphone product range.

    The first handset to feature full document viewing capabilities from TCL is the Linux-based TCLe787, which was launched in August 2005. Further smartphones featuring the application are expected to be announced later this year.

    TCL, China's second largest mobile phone manufacturer, will be the first key Chinese brand to license Picsel's award-winning File Viewer business and productivity application.

    Picsel File Viewer is a lead application from Picsel's range of content enabling solutions which can enable any kind of rich content experience to be delivered on any device. Picsel's technology allows high-end multimedia functionality to be delivered across all phones and operating systems.
