Intel, Bayi Space, ViewSonic, Nvidia, Seagate Technology, Belkin and Freeland have formed an alliance in China to manufacture special computers for Internet cafes.
This week Bayi Space unveiled the first computer made from the collaboration. It includes a special function to send messages to a network administrator at an Internet cafe. It also has enhanced networking features that enable smoother connectivity among users playing games and chatting in an Internet cafe environment.
The seven manufacturers intend to help regulate China's Internet cafe market through the special designs and services to be found in forthcoming computers.
