A Beijing court has ordered Baidu.com (BIDU) to pay CNY68,000 to Shanghai Busheng Music Cultural Media Company.
Busheng had accused Baidu of allowing Internet users to use the Baidu search engine to find and download copyright-protected music. The court has also ordered Baidu to stop providing the download services to online users.
Baidu says it plans to appeal the decision.
