Bokee, a weblog service in China, has raised over $10 million from four venture capital firms: Softbank Asia Infrastructure Fund (SAIF), Granite Global Ventures (GGV), Mobius Ventures, and Bessemer Venture Partners.
Gary Rieschel, founder of Mobius VC; Daniel Yang, partner of SAIF; and Jenny Lee, director at GGV; have joined the Bokee board of directors.
The company's statement said although China has the world's largest young Internet user population, the Internet penetration rate is still only 8%, indicating huge market growth potential.
