Shanghai Telecom will tomorrow initiate another test of IPTV services. This time it has chosen both Shanghai's Minxing District and the Pudong New Area for the roll-out.
This is the second time that such a large-scale experiment has been made on IPTV in Shanghai following the first one in Shanghai's Zhabei District on September 26.
Shanghai Media Group also announced this week that 5000 residents in Shanghai's high-end Gubei district have already begun to experience interactive TV. The residents' TV channels are transformed into websites and their remote control into a mouse, which enables them to order and watch any programs on TV.
