UTStarcom (UTSI) has signed new contracts valued at approximately US$42 million with China Telecom to expand IP-based Personal Access System (iPAS) networks in regions throughout China.

The network expansions will take place in the Jiangsu, Guangdong, Sichuan, Zhejiang and Yunan provinces, as well as the Chongqing municipality.

"More than 84 million people currently subscribe for PAS service in China and subscriber growth has continued to be strong, representing better than 40 percent annual growth from 2004," said Simon Le, senior vice president of sales at UTStarcom China.

   Hi, I was hoping you may be able to help me as I have tried emailing UTstarcom but I cannot read chinese on their website. I have recently purchased a UTstarcom DV007 from China. It is a lovely phone but I need a manual in English, can I purchase one or download one? Also is it possible to have a warranty in English as I do not understand chinese.

   i cant download my usb cd into my computer, it loads but when i go to use it, it doesnt let me, says it has an error. tryed re-loading it, but doesnt work. is this because i have vista?

   I'm looking for an english version manual too for a DV007 – anyone know how or where? I'm also having a problem with downloading and transferring data with my computer – is it a general glitch or does someoen know how to make it work?

   Just to let you know english manual for DV007 is available. The US UTstar help service provided me with an electronic version.

   My nephew gave me for Xmas a DV007 and it came with a chinese manual .I am looking for an English Manual so that I will be able to use my cell.
   I also downloaded the small cd that came in the box so that I can connect the phone to my computer . Also did't work on Vista any solution. Someone can help me is the program compatable with Vista? Please help ……Thank you so much
