Alcatel Chooses Shanghai For Asia-Pacific Technology Center

Alcatel (ALA) has chosen Shanghai for establishing its Asia-Pacific development center for enterprise network technology.
Located in the Jinqiao Development Zone, Alcatel's new technology center will be responsible for localization of Alcatel's enterprise network solutions and serving the Asia-Pacific market on enterprise voice platforms, business handsets, IP network and communications applications.
The center will be comprised of 30 engineers at the initial stage, but the staff team will be increased in 2006.
