Thin Multimedia will be providing China Unicom (CHU) with its mobile multimedia solutions to deliver advanced video and audio services to all of its BREW-enabled CDMA handsets.
The service will be managed by UniBREW, a joint venture between Qualcomm and China Unicom.
UniBREW will use Thin's proprietary and H.264 solutions to deliver video on demand for both low- and high-end devices. The service provider intends to offer live TV broadcasts and music on demand at a later date.
Thin's mobile multimedia solutions allow mobile operators and content providers to author, manage and stream video and audio content to mobile phones.
