It still has not gone public, but privately-owned Bokee.com says it is planning a series of acquisitions before the end of this year.
Fang Xingdong, president of Bokee.com says the acquisitions will be related to and expected to be complementary to the website's existing business. Fang says that Bokee.com has kept close contacts with about ten websites and the result will soon come out.
Fang says that his company will use the US$10 million venture capital received earlier for technology upgrades, marketing promotions and acquisitions which are expected to go side by side so as to enhance a quick increase in user numbers.
