The Shanghai Certification Authority has announced that Shanghai has done well in electronic system construction and operation and will link its own electronic certification with that of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces in the coming five years.
According to Li Guo, general manager of Shanghai Certification Authority, his organization had issued more than 560,000 certificates and served approximately 400 institutions by October this year.
Huang Zhirong, a director from Shanghai National Code Management Commission, says that the e-certification service will be regulated and integrated next year so as to form a unified certification platform.
Huang says the linking of e-certificates in the Yangtze River Delta region has already been arranged and the roll-out should be smooth.
