Baidu Releases Basic Chinese Blog Service Data

Baidu (BIDU), one of the largest Chinese search engine providers in the world, has disclosed for the first time the basic data concerning the blog industry of China.
The company says that by the end of December 2005, there will be 36.82 million blog sites and 16 million bloggers in China, averaging 2.3 blog sites for each blogger.
Baidu says this data has been based on a comprehensive analysis over more than 1 billion Chinese webpages.
