Mao Zhihui, head of marketing at Lenovo (LNVGY) Mobile, has told local media that Lenovo Mobile will devote about 20% of its Chinese market resources to Shanghai market and may also move its Middle Region headquarters to Shanghai where a few of its competitors, including MSN, are based.
Compared with other mobile phone makers, Mao says Lenovo Mobile has been enjoying a higher profit rate because of its self-development strategy.
Lenovo Mobile has divided Chinese market into three parts: Northern Region, Middle Region and Southern Region. The Middle Region consists of nine cities and provinces including Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shaanxi, Henan, Gansu.
