The Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange (SUAEE) has started the China Technology Enterprise Equity Investment and Financing Information Public Demonstration System in Shanghai's Zhangjiang High-tech Zone.
The launch is part of an effort to provide support to medium and small technology enterprises for financing issues.
SUAEE plans to first test the system in Pudong and later extend it to the whole city of Shanghai and maybe China at large.
Analysts have told local media that SUAEE is said to be of high importance for bringing Shanghai's role as a major asset market in China into full play.
