Now that Alibaba has acquired Yahoo (YHOO) China and its 3721 subsidiary, Alibaba is trying to consolidate all the various platforms into one brand.
To this end, Alibaba will rename the 3721 Real Name Network to Alibaba Real Name Network.
Li Qi, COO of Alibaba, said that the purpose for changing the real name brand was based on the full consideration of the company's overall strategy and was to unify the company's B2B service.
Alibaba will introduce new technology, products and services to the real name system to provide one-stop service to medium and small enterprises and to realize its long anticipated "network marketing plus e-commerce" service structure.
