China's online advertising market reached CNY3.1 billion in 2005, ranking fourth among all the media channels.
Advertiser Ogilvy's latest statistics shows that the online advertising market of China increased by 77.1% compared with 2004. And it has for the first time exceeded magazine ad income.
It is predicted that China's online advertising market will reach CNY4.6 billion in 2006 and hit CNY15.7 billion by 2010.
Media professionals quoted in local media say that the traditional print media will no longer dominate the market with the challenge from such new media channels as Internet.
