China's Tech Revenue Will Increase By 20% In 2006

Based on the sales revenue of the information industry in 2005, the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) estimates that this year the country's technology sales revenue will increase by 20% compared with the same period of last year.
According to MII statistics, China's IT industry achieved 2.48% more revenue in 2005 than in 2004, and the industrial value of the IT industry reached CNY900.4 billion, an increase of 28.2% from the previous year.
Computer and electronic components manufacturers were the major driving force of the industry.
