Proposals For More Transparent Government Procurement

Three information technology associations in China have united to resist the conventional rules regarding technology product biddings and procurement in order to appeal for a more transparent and better competitive environment for China's national technology manufacturers.

The three groups are the China Computer Users Association (CCUA), China Computer Federation (CCF) and China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA).

The three jointly suggest that no specified IT product or manufacturer shall be designated in public biddings, particularly for projects supported by the government. Instead, the associations want all suppliers who are eligible to be granted the same admission.
