Colin Giles, senior vice president of Nokia (NOK) China, says that Nokia will focus on CDMA this year in China.
Nokia will expand its CDMA service through its own GSM mobile phone sales channels.
According to Giles, Nokia will start from low-end CDMA services and then gradually develop high-end ones.
In 2005, Nokia provided CDMA mobile phones to more than 30 suppliers in the world. At present, Nokia's CDMA mobile phone sales in China ranks fourth next to Samsung, LG and ZTE. The company also holds over 30% of CDMA market share in China.
