Ctrip.com Will Enter Corporate Travel Management Market

Chinese online travel service provider Ctrip.com (CTRP) announced that it will enter the corporate travel management market and make it a profit-making center for the company.
Zhuang Yuxiang, a senior supervisor from Ctrip's Business Travel Management Department, says that Ctrip.com had signed cooperative agreements with a number of enterprises including Panasonic, Coca Cola and Ping'an Insurance Company for the new service.
Analysts quoted in local media say that Ctrip.com still needs time to train the market as most Chinese enterprises still lack an idea of or need for corporate travel management.
At present, air ticket and hotel bookings are Ctrip's core service, accounting for 96% of the company's income, while travel product sales account for no more than 2.5%.
