Rumor: Tom Online May Acquire eBay Eachnet

Chinese media are reporting a rumor that struggling online auction website eBay Eachnet may be acquired by Tom Online (TOMO).
A story from 163.com says the top management of both companies have been in close contact since the beginning of this year and Tom Online has already conducted an evaluation and due diligence of eBay Eachnet.
Tom Online released its 2005 fiscal report on March 17. It shows that the company achieved a total revenue of US$172.11 million in the year with a net profit of $45.01 million.
