Guangzhou Telecom has now formally initiated an online yellow pages which is targeting the lucrative B2B market in China.
Li Baoping, deputy general manager of Guangzhou Telecom, says that the launch of this online yellow pages, "Guangzhou Industrial and Commercial Yellow Pages", is an important step for the company to test the waters of e-commerce.
The new directory service is currently only available in Guangzhou, but it may spread across China by the end of the year once the testing period is concluded.
