Chinese online travel service provider Ctrip.com (CTRP) has launched a "last minute booking" service to meet the urgent demands of its users.
With this new service, passengers can book their flight tickets 90 minutes ahead of the flight's departure in contrast to the 3 hours in the past.
Before formally launching the service this week, Ctrip.com said it tested he service for ten months.
The company says that the 90 minutes also includes the time needed for checking in, security checks and getting on board the plane.
