GuGe, which means "Happy Song", is the new name for Google's (GOOG) online search engine in China.
The global search giant has been trying to break into the Chinese market, but is still finding heated competition for sites like Baidu.com (BIDU) and Sohu.com (SOHU).
In addition, the company does not operate independently in China and still rents an Internet Content Provider license from Beijing-based website Ganji.com.
When speaking of the company's prospects in China, Google's CEO Eric Schmidt this week tells Reuters, "I don't know where revenue growth will be, but it will obviously be large."
