Price War: Beijing Unicom Slashes Ruyitong CDMA Calling Fee

Beijing Unicom has joined the price war launched by its competitor Beijing Mobile by slashing the calling rate on its Ruyitong CDMA users.
Beijing Unicom has reduced the local calling fee for Ruyitong CDMA from CNY0.54 to CNY0.20 and long distance calling fee from CNY1.24 to CNY0.3.
It has also offered two packages for receiving a phone calls. The two packages are respectively priced at CNY8/500 minutes and CNY15/1000 minutes per month, which is 20% cheaper than Beijing Unicom's similar offer.
Beijing Unicom's price reduction does not yest cover its other services such as World Wind.
