Pei Aihua, a senior vice president for China Netcom (CN), has disclosed that China Netcom will focus on solving three key consumer issues in the coming weeks.
The three issues are slow ADSL speed, poor communication quality of Little Smart and calling fee disputes.
Pei says China Netcom is consulting with other telecom operators on expanding the capacity of ADSL to improve the network access speed. The company also plans to increase the investment on optimizing network structure to solve the bad communication quality of Little Smart (PHS) phones. Netcom will also work out ways to provide a detailed calling log to consumers in an effort to solve calling fee disputes.
Pei has not given a definitive timetable for when these adjustments will be finalized.
