Beijing Unicom has signed an agreement with the Beijing Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and domestic e-payment company YeePay to offer a prepaid service for its mobile phone users.
Users of Beijing Unicom can apply for the service by first calling ICBC's service phone 95588 to bind their mobile phone number with their bank account at ICBC, and then call Beijing Unicom's service number 96533 to fulfill the payment.
Unlike previous telephone bank payment services that were only limited to post-payment users, this service of Beijing Unicom is available to both prepaid users and post-payment users.
Users can also choose different payment categories to pay for their mobile service.
