Following its partnership with Peking University Library two months ago, Baidu.com (BIDU), the largest search engine in China, has now reached another strategic partnership with Chinese National Science Digital Library (CNSDL).
With this cooperation, Baidu is poised to offer the world's largest selection of Chinese book searches.
The cooperation between Baidu and CNSDL is similar to that between Baidu and Peking University Library: Baidu will include CNSDL's book collection on its search platform, which will help improve the exposure of these books and offer more convenience to netizens.
As the largest specialized library in China, CNSDL has a total of 5.2 million volumes of books and more than 13,000 kinds of science and technology periodicals.
