China's First Netcafe Computer Application Standard

China's National Computer Quality Supervision And Inspection Center has released its "Netcafe Computer Application Standard," which lists the requirements for handling and maintaining computers at Internet cafes in China.
Luo Hongyuan, director of the Center, says the Standard lists requirements such as computer configuration, noise level, disturbance resistance, stability and 3C certification.
In addition, Luo says the Standard has set up criteria for energy saving within netcafes.
