Following Shanghai Media Group and CCTV's acquistion of mobile phone TV licenses, another two radio broadcasting institutions in China, China Radio International and CNR, are expected to officially receive their licenses soon.
Local media report that China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television has approved CRI and CNR's application for the licenses and the two are now undergoing audits.
CRI has reportedly already opened a joint venture company for running the mobile phone television service and CNR has also been busy deploying its relevant services.
