Beijing Taide Interactive Company, owner of the DoFaLa music website, has filed a lawsuit against Mop.com for reportedly stealing links to four of Taide's songs.
Beijing Taide Interactive Company says in its petition to the court that it obtained the right to use the four songs composed by Li Bin, including Bo Li Yi Yang, Equator and North Pole, Ha Yi Xia and Crystalplane in April 2004, but later found Mop.com was playing the songs online and providing links for users to download the songs.
DoFala asks Mop.com to stop the infringement immediately, pay it CNY100,000 in compensation and CNY1000 for other losses.
The case is being processed by the court and a decision may not be reached for a few months.
