China Mobile Will Build TD-SCDMA For Six Olympic Cities

China's State Development and Reform Commission says it has reached a preliminary understanding with the Ministry of Information Industry to build a trial TD-SCDMA network in the six cities that will co-host the Olympic events in 2008.
The network should be completed by the end of this year, and China Mobile will undertake the construction of the network.
The six cities that will co-host the events with Beijing include Tianjin, Shanghai, Qingdao, Qinghuangdao, Shenyang and Hong Kong.
