KongZhong Works With Channel V

Wireless value-added service provider KongZhong (KONG) has inked an agreement with Channel V, becoming the exclusive strategic partner of the music channel in mainland China.

According to a representative from KongZhong.com who was quoted in local media, the parties aim to jointly create a wireless music brand by launching a KongZhong Channel V music channel at Kong.net.

The new KongZhong Channel V music channel will feature such content as music information, music activities, albums and forums.

KongZhong.com will spend about US$10 million this year on wireless Internet portal service, and the company already has more than 80 million mobile phone users.

Besides the cooperation with Channel V, KongZhong.com has also launched its first wireless job recruitment service in cooperation with Zhaopin.com.
