Chinese online travel service provider Yoee.com has reached a deal with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to meet the increasing travel needs during the upcoming National Day holiday and promote the sales of e-tickets.
Starting the end of September, consumers who buy an e-ticket at Yoee.com and pay with ICBC's online payment service will be eligible to enjoy a CNY20 discount. Those who book 5 e-tickets at the same time will also receive a complimentary U Dun certificate from ICBC.
Online payment safety has long been a bottleneck for promoting e-tickets. ICBC says it has adopted a strictly designed safety system and used electronic password cards and U Dun certificates to offer protection to the online transaction and users' account information.
At present, e-ticket sales account for about 70% of Yoee's total air ticket sales.
