Datang Partners With CITCC On TD Construction

Datang Mobile has signed an agreement with domestic communications construction giant China International Telecommunication Construction Corporation on constructing a new TD-SCDMA network.
According to the agreement, CITCC will provide communications project contracting and network systems maintenance services to Datang Mobile, and the latter shall be responsible for providing all technical support and product training. The parties will also cooperate on TD technology promotion and applications.
The cooperation between the two signals the beginning of a large scale deployment and commercial use of TD in China.
