Local media are reporting that Google (GOOG) will soon set up a joint venture company with Ganji.com, which owns an Internet Content Provider license, in order to avoid further legal hassles in China.
The ICP license is only available to Chinese domestic companies. In order to provide its search engine services in China, Google currently partners with various companies.
Neither Google nor Ganji.com has confirmed the news, but they admit that the two indeed have entered into a strategic partnership.
