Zhongsou.com, a pioneering Chinese search engine service provider, has announced changes to its website layout and a shift to a more personal service portal.
Chen Bo, COO of Zhongsou.com, has admitted to local media that the change of the company's website is a prelude for the company to march into the personal service portal field, but he has emphasized that this change does not mean that the company will eliminate the search service.
According to a recent CNNIC survey, Zhongsou.com's market share in the Chinese search market has been reduced with Baidu, Google and Yahoo taking the majority of eyeballs.
