Through a preliminary selection, more than 60000 e-commerce websites in Beijing will be monitored by the system.
The system will mainly be used to investigate illegal behavior like false advertisements, multi-level marketing, unfair competition, contract fraud and operating without a business licenses. Currently it focuses only on textual content, but later it will be gradually be extended to monitor graphics, animated pictures, audio and video placed on websites.
