Soufun.com Forms Strategic Partnership With Tom Online

Chinese online real estate service provider Soufun.com has reached a strategic partnership with Tom Online (TOMO) and will be responsible for constructing and managing the real estate channel for Tom.com.
According to their agreement, the parties will integrate each of their own features and launch a new real estate channel specially targeting young house buyers.
In 2006, Soufun.com reached similar cooperations with Netease and Tencent.
As one of the largest real estate portals in China that owns comprehensive house-related information, Soufun.com has extended its service to more than 50 cities in China.
In August 2006, Australian telecommunications company Telstra purchased a 51% stake in SouFun.com for US$254 million.
