TCL Group says that it may continue suffering a business loss in the financial year of 2006 according to a preliminary estimate.
TCL says that if it indeed saw a loss in 2006, its shares may be suspended on the stock market as this would be the second consecutive year that it suffered a deficit.
However, the company announced that it already has the apability to make 3G mobile phones, though it has not obtained the core intellectual property rights related to operating on a 3G network. A company representative says that it will benefit from the domestic 3G communications network construction and development and hopefully see a return to profitability.
