Gome Gets Payment Support For Online Purchasing Portal

The Chinese home appliance retailer Gome and payment service provider 99Bill.com have announced a strategic partnership to enable online home appliance purchases.
According to the agreement, 99Bill will provide Gome with customized payment solutions to support real time online transactions for online home appliance shopping covering 40 cities throughout the country. The solution will not only enable Chinese users to pay for Gome products easily with credit cards, debit cards, and phone banking, but also allow Gome to centrally manage all online transactions across 40 cities.
He Yangchun, spokeperson of Gome Group, says this cooperation's objective is to provide Gome's consumers with an easier, faster and safer online shopping destination through 99Bill's powerful payment solutions and comprehensive services.
"The cooperation of traditional industry and third-party payment not only brings end-consumers new shopping and
payment experience, it also allows transitional businesses to leverage the 130 million online customers and interactive technology as well. The 99Bill's partnership with Gome is the major step toward the direction." 99Bill CEO Oliver Kwan said.
