AsiaInfo (ASIA) says it has recently signed contracts with China Mobile (CHL) to expand and improve the Business Intelligence systems for its provincial subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hubei, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet.
"Our leading business intelligence systems are developed through constant evaluation of customer and application requirements," said Steve Zhang, President and Chief Executive Officer of AsiaInfo. "These improved BI systems will help China Mobile subsidiaries to fine tune their sales strategies and bring about higher profitability."
These projects are expected to be completed by July 2007.
The enhanced BI systems will provide deeper analysis of individual user data, corporate customer data and the effectiveness of sales channels. The systems will also generate more thorough subject analysis and reports that will feed into the sales management platform and provide comprehensive support to the frontline sales teams.
AsiaInfo's BI system has been successfully implemented in China Mobile's headquarter as well as 13 provincial subsidiaries. Currently, AsiaInfo's BI system supports more than 150 million users and over 500 terabytes of data in China.
