Shanghai Hualong Information Technology Development Center's municipal RFID system has a repeat buyer.
Hualong's system was adopted by Shanghai Bus for the first phase of its information-based project one year ago. Shanghai Bus says that over the last year it saw good feedback from the use of the RFID system and so it plans to purchase more RFID-enabled devices for its new expansion.
For the second phase of the project, which will begin soon, Shanghai Bus says it will start implementing new systems in April 2007 and then slowly roll out more features throughout the year.
