Beijing Holds Innovative Enterprise Pilot Conference

China's Ministry of Science and Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions have jointly held a work conference on an innovative enterprise pilot in Beijing.
The conference was held on February 26 and deployed the next-stage tasks to improve innovation in enterprises, the main driver of the national innovation strategy.
Xu Guanhua, Minister of Science and Technology, delivered a report on optimizing the policy environment and boosting innovative enterprises. Shao Ning, Vice Chairman of SASAC, and Qiao Chuanqiu, Vice Chairman of ACFTU, also addressed the conference.
Representatives from the pilot enterprises such as Shanghai Bao Steel Group and localities like Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology also made presentations. The conference also witnessed participation of key leaders in charge of the first batch of 103 pilot enterprises and relevant officials from localities, departments and associations.
