Taiwan media reports that the mainland's telecom equipment supplier Huawei has entered a strategic partnership with local Taiwanese companies including Foxconn and D-Link.
Foxconn will provide Huawei with terminal equipment CPE and D-link will supply Huawei with component products and exchanges.
Bai Mingliang, general manager of the Service Department of Taiwan Huawei Technology Company, says that Huawei, which focused previously on the mainland China market, has begun to gradually expand into the international market in recent years and expects that they can achieve a two-digit growth rate in the international market this year.
No financial aspects of the transaction have been reported.
