RC Group Joins Intel To Explore China's Health Care Market

RC Group, one of the world's RFID giants, has signed an agreement with Intel to jointly explore the RFID market in China's health care industry.
The health care sector is said to be the fastest growing sector for RFID application. Statistics show that the sector will sextuple in the coming years and reach US$2.3 billion in market value by 2011.
RC Group is a leading international provider of biometric identification products, security and RFID systems. RC Group says its solutions can be applied to a number of vertical industries such as aviation, healthcare, logistics and real estate.
No financial details of the agreement have been released.
