Google (GOOG) China has formally launched a website search engine navigation service, which competes directly with Baidu.com's Hao123 navigation service.
Google China says that it offers this service because, according to its market surveys, many new Internet users tend to follow others' recommendations and log into websites through direct visits. Google China also says that it won't post any advertisement or website rating on the navigation section.
Previously, Google China launched Google Reminder, and many other search related products. In order to increase its website traffic flow, it also reached strategic partnership with downloading service provider Xunlei.
