Under great pressure from messages posted on Chinese Internet chat boards and blogs, Huigezi Workshop, developer of the remote monitoring software Huigezi, has announced plans to stop developing the software in China.
Huigezi Workshop has also condemned the illegal behavior of those crackers who decoded and revised the software to use in hacking exploits.
The workshop has announced on its website that all their software products are commercialized remote control software applications designed for netcafes, enterprises and individual users and they have applied for copyrights for them from the relevant government departments. However, the software has been illegally revised to do harm to users, which is against the mission of Huigezi Workshop.
Huigezi Workshop has provided a free download URL for users to download the correct Huigezi software to help fix any exploits.
