East Star Air, a private airline company in China, has announced plans to cooperate with the online third-party payment service provider YeePay to introduce the latter's e-payment platform to its ticket distribution network.
The cooperation between the two parties, coupled with East Star Air's existing telephone payment service, enables users to easily book an air ticket online or through a phone call.
As one of the first private airline company in China that has introduced telephone payment service, East Star Air enjoys more advantages than its competitors in that it has been backed up by abundant travel resource of its parent company East Star Group. The introduction of YeePay's online payment service is expected to win the company a more advantageous position in the aviation travel market.
A representative from East Star Air says that East Star has formed a loose alliance with other private airlines in China, including United Eagle, OK Air, Spring Airlines and Jixiang Airlines to communicate and share resources with each other.
East Star Air is one of the first private air companies in central China. It is based in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei Province.
