Formerly known as Ansai throughout China, Hifn (HIFN) has now unified all Chinese operations under the Hifn corporate brand.
"Hifn has a history of market leadership and technology in applied processors," said Albert E. Sisto, chairman and CEO of Hifn. "Our team in China will now leverage our strengths as they focus on expanding the Hifn brand in the growing China market and assisting Hifn's growth worldwide."
Hifn will maintain local offices in Beijing and Shanghai, and it will have a design facility in Hangzhou. Hifn's China-based customers will continue to be supported by the local offices and Jiebing Wang, will assume the role of vice president of worldwide engineering for Hifn and general manager of the company's China product operations.
"Hifn has a solid reputation in China already and combined with our local facilities and the talent we now have in place, we are ready to take the company to the next level in China," said Jiebing Wang. "Additionally the team in China will serve as a development facility for key Hifn products for worldwide distribution."
Leveraging over a decade of expertise in data encryption and compression, Hifn says it is a partner to industry innovators for whom security is critical to their success.
