Chinese domain name registration and virtual hosting service provider Net.cn has formally launched a domain name sales transaction center.
So far, the transaction center, which includes a domain name buying section, domain name selling section, domain name maintenance section, and domain name assessment section, has received more than 10000 domain names for sale.
Zhou Mao, vice president of Net.cn, says that compared with a decade ago, the price of domain names has declined dramatically. However, he says there are few good domain names left, and it has therefore become a better choice for enterprises who can't find a proper domain name to purchase one.
Zhou says that in addition to receiving the domain names submitted by the sellers, the center will also cooperate with international buyers.
